In Grub Club this week, Penny and the Juniors made bread. There was some confusion at first while everyone got their resources together and we prayed for a stable internet signal (what is this, 2019?) but in the end, Penny and I ate little pizzas made from scratch. I’m not sure how many other Juniors ended up with bread of their own, but they enjoyed the show.
While we waited for the bread to rise we wandered out into the garden to check on some seeds we started propagating before lockdown. It looks like we’ll have A LOT of tomatoes, some broccoli, spinach and silverbeet to plant out when we all get back to school.
