The Junior Japanese students were set the task of creating a “Kyaraben” which is a style of elaborately arranged bento (Japanese boxed lunch) which features food decorated to look like people, characters from popular media, animals, and plants.
The Junior Japanese students created these kyarabens at home in their online class during lockdown.
